Exhibition furniture conceptualised for the NUS Division of Industrial Design annual graduate showcase.
Taking advantage of corrugated cardboard's duality, the furniture was composed of recyclable cardboard with portable tables as supporting structure. Single face corrugated cardboard bends to give a skirting which not only provides the utility to concealing wiring, but also creates an illusion of levitation, whereas double walled cardboard gives it rigidity, making it suitable and sturdy as a table surface. The use of material aligns with the goals of sustainability, being the first graduating batch to host the showcase at National University of Singapore's newest net-zero energy building, School of Design and Environment 4 building.
